16, 17, 124. C. Two staff were on-site w/four children. Enrollment currently totals 10 children. Both staff were animated and involved as they actively sang/danced and read to children. Staff is soft-spoken and extremely kind, thoughtful, and respectful with children. Children eagerly engaged in Circle Time and various activities. Children are encouraged to explore and voice their thoughts, ideas, feelings, and opinions and they are listened to and respected.
22, 148. C. Predictable and regular routine is apparent. Children can anticipate change and have expectation of daily schedule. Likewise, they also know what is expected of them.
26, 149, 150, 151, 152. C. The space is well designed w/much planning and thought. The environment is organized, clean, inviting, and fosters exploration, imaginative play, open dialogue, and cooperative play. Children are gently guided and encouraged as they learn through interactions w/each other and w/staff.
64. (-) Step stools for sinks/toilets are not necessary as the sinks/toilets are child-size.
72, 142. C. Bleach bottles are labeled & concentration is tested regularly w/test-strips to ensure it is w/in required range. Bleach & cleaners are in a locked cabinet.
